Returns and Remedy Policy

Diesel Performance Mechanical Pty Ltd (“The Seller”) offers a range of products via online sales of custom products and is a reseller of other third-party manufacturers products.

Under the Australian Consumer Law, the customer is only entitled to a refund or replacement for a major problem/defect with a product covered by consumer guarantees. 

“The seller” does not offer refunds or returns for change of mind, found it cheaper elsewhere and/or incorrect selection during buying phase by the consumer (meaning you bought the wrong product – although in this case please contact us to discuss options).

If selection of the wrong products was made during the buying phase by the consumer, and they would like to discuss their options, please contact “the seller” to discuss and if a return or replacement option is offered by “the seller” (although not guaranteed as incorrect selection is not covered by the ACCC consumer guarantees), the consumer must return the product and original packaging and is responsible for the costs of the return postage and the costs of the new postage for the exchange product.

“The Seller” aims to provide accurate descriptions on all online products although if a description is incorrect at time of purchase, please contact “the seller” to discuss options, and “the seller” will confirm the product description content.

Core Return Policy

Please review the following guidelines for returning core units:

  1. Return Window
    Customers have up to 45 days from the date of purchase to return core units for credit. No credit will be issued for cores returned after this 45-day period.
  2. Packaging
    Core units must be returned in similar packaging as was supplied.
    This includes blanking caps fitted.
  3. Inspection and Eligibility for Credit
    Upon arrival, core units will be inspected. Any cores deemed damaged beyond repair will not be eligible for credit.
  4. Credit Issuance
    Core credits will be processed within 30 days of receiving the core unit.
  5. Freight Responsibility
    DPM is not responsible for lost or damaged items during transit. We recommend using a reliable shipping method with tracking to ensure the safe return of core units.
